I was expecting a few snarky takes of getting too old to do this sort of shit. Instead, we've been treated to appreciation and thanks to a cast of madmen and idiots who have taught us a great deal about ourselves.

I love Jackass. They got me through years of chronic pain and injury. I didn't always love them. When I was younger, I considered myself too cool for most things. Anything idiotic got the snub and there was nothin more idiotic than Jackass.

Pain and Injury taught me a lot about the absurdity of life. Jackass taught me to enjoy the shit show.

Battered and beaten and still smiling. They are the American Millennial Spirit. Old and ready for the next phase.

Maybe that was always the point, to be able to know when to live uproariously and to know when it's at long last enough. The body becoming a collection of scars, each of them telling a story. Some healed over and others still freshly bleeding. >>> Niko Stratis, Decades of glorious self-destruction

Thank you, Jackass. When I think of shit, I'll think of you.
